As members of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) we have been represented on the ARCA Governing Council for over a decade. Certifications are held for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 demonstrating the organisation’s commitment to quality, environmental and Health and Safety procedures and processes respectively. A further six accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, Achilles, and British Safety Council. A brief history LAR was founded in 1997 after a management buyout of Laing Asbestos Removal – part of John Laing Construction Ltd. As a result the directors and many of the operational staff have over 30 years’ experience in the removal of asbestos, having safely and effectively carried out projects across the UK, Europe and Africa with project values of up to £3.5 million.
