After gaining experience working for various companies, Rob decided to set up his own business in 2012. In 2016, Rob partnered with his wife Fiona to form Williams Plant Dorset Ltd, a limited company that expanded its services to offer a full groundworks package for a wider range of projects. Our History The background to our company directors Adam and Tim. Adam carried out his apprenticeship whilst employed by DMB Carpentry & Joinery. Gradually working his way up and gaining more experience, he began managing sites across London and Surrey. From here Adam branched out, working for several local building firms, running projects once they were past the structural phases. This allowed him to develop close relationships with customers and subcontractors alike, building a solid network around him. Whilst studying Civil Engineering at Loughborough University, Tim worked part-time on building sites where he also developed a passion for the practical side of construction. Upon graduating, Tim started his career with an Esher based building company where he focused predominantly on, and ended up running, the structural side of projects whilst becoming a fully qualified carpenter. During this time he joined forces with Adam. With Adam’s experience in the industry and Tim’s background in engineering, they eventually began running large projects together, complementing and combining their skill sets. After several years working alongside one another, Ash Carpentry and Construction was established.
