The specialists In order to demonstrate the high levels of competence and stringent Health and Safety requirements our industry dictates, LAR continues to invest heavily in a range of memberships and accreditations. As members of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) we have been represented on the ARCA Governing Council for over a decade. Certifications are held for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 demonstrating the organisation’s commitment to quality, environmental and Health and Safety procedures and processes respectively. A further six accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, Achilles, and British Safety Council. A brief history LAR was founded in 1997 after a management buyout of Laing Asbestos Removal – part of John Laing Construction Ltd.
