Jowett Stone has a proud history of providing natural Yorkshire stone of the highest quality. You can rest assured that we will exceed expectations. One of our Directors Tom, comes from a long line of quarrymen and his great grandfather, Ernest Jowett, owned Bank Top Quarry at Bingley.
Tom has over 10 years’ experience in the stone industry and has demolished some of the county’s great lost houses, salvaging some of their increasingly rare and beautiful architecture to offer for sale at our main reclamation yard.
Our Yard
Our stone yard, in Bradford, is open to both the public and trade. You will find York Stone Paving, all types of Walling Stone, heads and cills, copings and some fine pieces of architectural salvage.
Our stone dressers are on hand to help match any stone you need for your current project and our team has over 200 years’ combined experience.

Jowett Stone is a family run specialist business. We are experts in supplying the best quality natural Yorkshire stone for extensions or conversions of old, period or listed buildings. We specialise in the reclamation salvaging of York Stone buildings.
We constantly source materials through demolishing sites of stone buildings. We work with builders, ground works companies, architects, landscape gardeners, property developers, large utility companies, museums and garden centres; along with local authorities and their planning departments; throughout the UK and overseas.
We have experienced stone dressers and masons and can match all stone.
Stock Levels
We have a large supply of good quality natural Yorkshire stone all year round, and can fulfil orders both small and large. Please call us on 01422 247300 or 07964 696 529 to ascertain our stock levels at any given time. We carry out our own demolition services, bringing the stone back to our sorting yards and ensuring endless product range. We dress the stone and resell it and can provide nationwide haulage.
