Onyx Civils is a family-run business with a passion for construction and a commitment to delivering exceptional groundworks and civil engineering solutions. Our Story
Our founder, Rob Williams, has been involved in the construction industry since he was a child. He developed a passion for machinery and construction, which led him to pursue a career in heavy plant mechanics. After gaining experience working for various companies, Rob decided to set up his own business in 2012. With a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality, Rob quickly built a reputation for delivering reliable and efficient groundworks services. In 2016, Rob partnered with his wife Fiona to form Williams Plant Dorset Ltd, a limited company that expanded its services to offer a full groundworks package for a wider range of projects. In 2020, the company was renamed Onyx Civils Limited, reflecting the company's core values of strength, determination, and perseverance.
